- No Data Processing Agreements with AI vendors. Every AI tool that handles your customer data should be covered by a DPA. If your vendor cannot produce one, that is a red flag.
- Training AI on customer data without a lawful basis. Some businesses feed customer interactions into AI tools to "improve" the system. Unless you have explicit consent or a legitimate interest assessment for this, it breaches data minimisation principles.
